Xandros

Xandros is both the name of a operating systems line and the company creating them. Xandros Desktop id distributed by Linux. The name comes from X Windows System and the Greek island Andros. Founded in May 2001 by global Linux partners, the company has the headquarter in New York and has not produced or updated any software version for two and a half years.
