World Wide Web shortened as WWW or W3 and known as Web is a global network of interconnected hypertext documents. With the help of a browser it can be viewed web pages wit text, images, videos, or other multi media forms. A user can surf trough these pages using hyperlinks. Using concepts from old hypertext systems, English physicist Tim Berners Lee, now director of the World Wide Web Consortium wrote on march 1989 a proposal for what was going to become World Wide Web.

World Wide Web was developed to be an ensemble of human knowledge allowing collaborators and site makers to share their ideas and all the aspects connected to a common project. If two projects are created independently the two informational sources could be a common project.
