A router is an electronic device used to connect two or more computers or other electronic devices with each other and to the Internet. This allows computers to communicate between them and with the Internet at the same time.
Modern routers for home use have an incoming port (for Internet) and four outgoing ports where computers can be connected. A wireless router, besides the five ports, allows more devices to connect to it.
Technically, a router is an electronic equipment of computer networks whose software and hardware allows adapting to directing and sending information missions.
