Personal area network

PANPersonal Area Network is a computer network used to communicate between computer devices near to a person (including mobiles and PDAs - Personal Digital Assistants). Devices may or may not be owned by that person. Geographic coverage of a PAN is usually a few meters. PAN may be used to communicate between personal devices or to connect to a upper level network and Internet.
