Mozilla Firefox is a free open source web browser descendant of the Mozilla suite applications managed by the Mozilla corporation. A survey led by Net Applications shows that Mozilla Firefox has 25% percents of the share use of web browsers starting with November 2009, being the second most used browser in the world after Internet Explorer.

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko engine.
