Kaspersky Antivirus is developed by Kaspersky Lab labs. It's designed for computers running under Microsoft Windows și Macintosh OS X although there is a Linux version for business market.

Features

Real time protection, detection and removes virus, Trojans, worms , spyware, adware, keyloggers, malicious tools and rootkits.

Kaspersky prevents being deactivated by a malware without users permission by requiring passwords on access. It also scans the instant messaging traffic and automatically deactivates links to sites hosting malware. It includes free technical support and free updates in the subscription periods. Kaspersky Lab offers subscriptions for 1, 2 and 3 years.

Awards

According to AV-Comparatives, Kaspersky Anti-Virus is classified as being one of the best viruses scans. Also the PC World Magazine awarded Kaspersky 6 with "Editor's choice" in antiviruses testings from 2007.

Kaspersky was tested by Passmark in June 2008 and was classified as having the most rapid scan time in industry for Windows Vista platform.
