Hypertext

A hypertext is the text displayed on a computer or on another electronic device with hyperlinks to other texts the reader can access immediately using the mouse click or a keys combination. Besides texts hypertexts can also include tables, images and other presentation devices. There also can be displayed other interactions like a balloon showing on a text when the mouse's pointer is over a specific area, a video starting on click, etc. The most vast example of hypertext nowadays is WWW.
